What I did to my YJ today

So after my long list of things to do for my jeep, I finally got the sway bar disconnects installed. I haven't tested them but I have noticed the appearance to be much different. For some odd reason I feel like I can take on the world. I am stock, though I run on 31" tires so it makes me wonder. hmmm.... Anywho...I will be trying to find the bushings for the JKs telescopic tracbar I've acquired to install in the next few days. I have pictures just need to extract them from my phone.

Info on the dicos, it was a pain in the behind to remove them!! That's all I can say about that. Installation was a cinch and I cannot wait to go "flexing" soon.

As I mentioned before I have cleaned the carb and valve cover, they were covered in heavy grease and grime and oil and dirt and basically everything under the sun. I'll post pics tomorrow. I'm getting summoned by the woman to come to bed. It's 0230am. hmmm.... ;-)

Went on a joyride TOPLESS!!!

(Jeeps top, not mine) lol

First time taking top off, took me like 30 mins ... Hopefully I'll get better at it

i like that you threw the top thing in there haha but does it stay on without sanding the hood?

I actually installed these items last week, but I'm just finally getting around to the pics.

Ordered all parts from Joe @ Quadratec. Thanks, Joe!!! :thumb:

(sorry for the crummy cell phone pics)
New door panels, interior door handles and door pulls.

Also, a new Warn VR10,000S (synthetic line)

Friends can be dangerous

SO me and a friend are hangin out in the garage and he notices my inspection sticker is coming off so offers to fix it by taking a heat gun to the windshield. After multiple warnings from the other side of the garage where I was rhino lining that he was gonna crack the windshield he did just that.(putz).
I had noticed the rust creaping out from the windshield and the dry rotted cowl seal and was gonna get to it someday. Someday came quick as a result of his good intentions. So he bought the windshield :thumb: I bought the materials and a new cowl seal from Quadratec which arrived the next day!
I welded in some new steel and then JB welded some smaller trouble spots. Sprayed the area the windshield sits in with rustoleum and I'll be rhino lining the windshield frame to match the front bumper and the cowl air intake on the hood. It's lookin way better already. Maybe i should thank him.
