What I did to my YJ today

So after my long list of things to do for my jeep, I finally got the sway bar disconnects installed. I haven't tested them but I have noticed the appearance to be much different. For some odd reason I feel like I can take on the world. I am stock, though I run on 31" tires so it makes me wonder. hmmm.... Anywho...I will be trying to find the bushings for the JKs telescopic tracbar I've acquired to install in the next few days. I have pictures just need to extract them from my phone.

Info on the dicos, it was a pain in the behind to remove them!! That's all I can say about that. Installation was a cinch and I cannot wait to go "flexing" soon.

As I mentioned before I have cleaned the carb and valve cover, they were covered in heavy grease and grime and oil and dirt and basically everything under the sun. I'll post pics tomorrow. I'm getting summoned by the woman to come to bed. It's 0230am. hmmm.... ;-)

Decided to finally wire up all my lights. Been a week or so gathering up switches, relays, waterproof box, etc.... Drilled the bumper and ran the wires through the tubes to hide and protect them. Built all the wiring harness from scratch, complete with in-line fuses and relays.:D

I like lights. I have never been in a situation on the trail at night when you say "dang its just too bright". I have 2 55 watt Hella fogs down low and 2 Hella 100 watt Hella black magic 1000 on the hoop and 2 hella black magic 500 on the mirror mounts by the windshield. I mounted daystar switches (3) in the area where the defroster, rear wiper switches go. Area to the right of the steering column.

Instead of running miles of wire to the battery, I installed a Bus Bar on the driver fender and ran one 8 guage hot wire to the bus bar then hooked up all my + wires to the bar. It just cleans up the wiring. I'll include a pic.
