I actually installed these items last week, but I'm just finally getting around to the pics.

Ordered all parts from Joe @ Quadratec. Thanks, Joe!!!

(sorry for the crummy cell phone pics)
New door panels, interior door handles and door pulls.

Also, a new Warn VR10,000S (synthetic line)

Friends can be dangerous

SO me and a friend are hangin out in the garage and he notices my inspection sticker is coming off so offers to fix it by taking a heat gun to the windshield. After multiple warnings from the other side of the garage where I was rhino lining that he was gonna crack the windshield he did just that. (putz).
I had noticed the rust creaping out from the windshield and the dry rotted cowl seal and was gonna get to it someday. Someday came quick as a result of his good intentions. So he bought the windshield I bought the materials and a new cowl seal from Quadratec which arrived the next day!
I welded in some new steel and then JB welded some smaller trouble spots. Sprayed the area the windshield sits in with rustoleum and I'll be rhino lining the windshield frame to match the front bumper and the cowl air intake on the hood. It's lookin way better already. Maybe i should thank him.

I pulled the half doors off my rig. I took the passenger side door apart since I was having a hard time getting it to lock. After straightening the lock rod and lubing up the entire latch assembly, I got the idea to go ahead and paint the door panel since it was off anyways. I used Krylon Fusion Satin Black. It turned out really good, IMO. I also removed the mirror and cleaned/repainted it, as well as doing the same thing to my upper door rail.

I also removed my seat covers and threw them in the wash. After drying, I installed them back on the seats.

Tomorrow I replace the exhaust, then I go DRIVE this thing again! (I've had half of the exhaust off and I don't like the straight pipe sound, so I haven't driven her since Monday.)

And maybe she'll get a bath tomorrow. We'll see what the weather does...

-EDIT- The reason I'm posting in the YJ section is because I'm talking about the 1993 YJ I have. Ignore my TJ in my avatar...

replaced return line for power steering, fuel filter, and oil change. now I've got to fix my passenger door since it won't open and figure out how to fix the tach. never worked since i got a few days ago. It has an HEI distributor and when previous owner put it in, he never could figure out how to get it back to work.

One line is power one is the tach, it should be labeled on hei then you just have to find the wire from your tach

right after i bought 4 cans of asphalt undercoating, one of PB blaster and a can of Rust Converter. I start the project removing the whole inside of the beast

found some surprise

found some pleasant one

How the undercoating look once painted on the floor

i still have 2 holes to repair but could be a lot worst, the rust converter reveal itself to be the surprise of the day, make the rust ''melt'' and ready to be painted in 5 minutes.

Today I pulled my driver's door apart to lube the lock/latch assembly. Lubing completed, but I think I'll repaint this one as well, since it won't look right with the other side looking all nice...

Oh, I also installed my exhaust. The previous owner had cut off the cat and replaced his entire exhaust with nothing more than an 18" length of pipe with the end turned down. I hated it. It sounded like a frickin' ricer. I replaced the cat pipe, installed a Walker Quiet Flow SS muffler, and a Walker 2.25" tailpipe. The muffler is stainless and has a lifetime warranty, and it was only $99 at O'Reilly's.

And lastly, I removed both front and rear track bars. I'm leaving the swaybar on the front for now. I'll just get some disconnects for it. Until then, when offroad, I'll just undo the lower bolts (where the lower end of the swaybar link attaches to the diff) and swing the whole assembly up out of the way and secure it with zip ties. I did that with my TJ until I got the JKS Quicker Disconnects and it worked fine.

And the most important thing I did to my YJ today? I drove it and enjoyed the Hell out of it.

Maybe tomorrow she'll get a bath...
