Do you have any photos or right up on this .... its been on my to do list for a while now.

I've got a set of TJ flares I pulled off my TJ when I installed my GenRight G3 steel tube fenders. I'm thinking about installing those flares on my YJ. Is there a large amount of cutting you have to do to the tub/fenders to get them to fit?

I finally got around to practicing what I preach. I changed my transmission oil today. I am not sure the previous owner had ever changed the transmission oil.

Well, I got my wheels and tires balanced and I mounted them on the Jeep. Here they are:

The previous owner added stainless hood catches, hinges, windshield tie downs, and that stinger. (Among other things I plan on changing.) But the worst thing he did was to add one of those gross chrome grille overlays. It's coming off, for sure, and the other shiny bits on the hood will be replaced with body color or black replacements. I hate chrome. Chrome is for SLOW Harleys.

New bumper and overhead console skeleton

Hey folks,
I put a new bumper on my 93 YJ a couple of weeks ago, but hadn't posted pics ... here it is.
I got it from a merchant called truckrestyling88 on Ebay. Rock crawler bumper. The price was pretty good (around $250 w/ free shipping) and the shackle rings were included. It's got a nice thick textured powder coat on it. My only complaint is that the mounting holes on the bottom (a sort of L-shaped cutout), don't quite line up with the mounting holes on the bottom side of the frame. It'll require me to drill them out (I haven't yet, but since I don't have a winch yet, I'm not worried about just using the top two)
The lights are Hella Micro series FF halogen driving lights that I picked up from Amazon (free 2-day shipping with Prime).
Here's the skeleton of my overhead console. I put it together with the rails from an old toddler bed spring that I had in the garage.
Yes those are zip ties holding it onto the windshield tiedown. I've got the CB/WX radio mounted there just above the rear-view. I'm going to skin it (top and bottom)with 5mm plywood painted black (Rustoleum truck bedliner) I also plan to install some LED overhead lights so that I can see in my YJ at night (it's dang dark in there) I'm using some 3" u-bolts to hold it to the roll bar. I'm not sure if I'll use those as the final mounting solution or not.

dude! it looks like it was flooded at some point of time (at least judging by pix on my screen) That should have been shifting rough. I'd check inside for corrosion and give it a good wash of kerosine. Just my .02

Holy Crap! Guess I got a heck of a deal then ... I went with that guy b/c his price was a bit less than some of the other ebay vendors, who were asking in tie $350-$400 range.

changed thermostat, fuel pump, installed a manual choke since the electric one didn't work anymore, and installed a borla exhaust.

Today I used Rustoliam Bed Liner Spay paint to paint my Finder Flairs, Front Grill, Gas Cap, Rear Licence Plate Holder, and Front Licence Plate Cover. I'm thinking of doing my rims this weekend and maybe my side steps for better grip.
