Been reading about it in the other thread. Enjoy HF for your birthday - good way to spend it. Planning on making the topless day. I have been wanting to do the PINS for awhile.

Your white will be gray in no time. As they will get dirty pretty easy.

you can't have different ratios unless you have different tire sizes from front to rear. You will cause binding issues with differing ratios when turning in 4wd as well as causing the rear tires to turn faster than the front if you go to a lower (numerically higher) ratio in the rear. So if you NEVER take it out of 2 high you'll be okay mismatched but that would be something you'd only want to do temporarily. There are some ratio differences that are okay like 4.10 to 4.11, the difference isn't enough to cause damage. Most times you will find these odd ratios with ford axles as they have a different cut to the ring and pinion, the ford style of cut is stronger as there are more pinion teeth in constant mesh with the ring gear.

well as i have been getting ready for this weekends hidden falls camping trip doing lots of prep work to the yj ..i was driving to the gas station and hit the brakes and my left front caliper seized up and bogged down my lil 4cyl to an almost complete stop . so limped it home and replaced with new front rotors both sides new pads up front and two new calipers too. cost me about 200 from oreileys but labor in my garage is free!! 45 mins later she is ready to go again . hopefully i can get my spartan locker in the front end before friday and i will be finished working on it for a bit .

Test fit my Rampage Half Cab.
Still have some adjusting to do for a better fit, and need to install the footman loops once I get them from Rampage (missing when it came)

Made a new front bumper and took my fender flares off the front. Right side is rusty but im gonna cut the fenders tomorrow and will weld in a new piece of steel. Once I get some tube I'll make some mounts and slap em on there.

I think i might build myself something similar to that, i'm a lil taller than most so my back wall needs to be further back, i like the look though

^^^^^^^ I couldn't close my soft top on the sides when I tried putting it up, and I learned that's best doing so when the temperature is hot outside so that the materials are more "stretchy" and making it easy to seal.

Their is a gap between the door and the top, I got the soft hardware from a local junkyard. But Im thinking I should sell the full doors (I got them 2 weeks ago) and buy the upper soft half doors

The sliding ones I've seen have round corners just like your full doors
