I told the wife I didn't trust the transmission in it because the 3-4 synchro is shot from one of the POs. Now i'm replacing it, but also putting in a new rear axle with a Detroit, so my excuse is I don't want her driving with an auto locker in the rear lol

For her safety, of course.

Yesterday I changed the tcase chain. The previous one had about 20 links come off of it. Anyone ever had that happen? Thank goodness it didn't mess anything else up. So today took it on the trails to test the 4x4 and works perfect. Then washed it and made it shine.

so far so good. made sure everything was tight back there too. i have noticed that my tools and stuff arent flying around in the back as much when i hit a particular area on my way to work. i wonder how much of a difference if i take the front track bars off as well. im leaving the sway bars on because i do drive on the highway a bit.

I took both front and rear off......left the sway on during pavement driving. Off road is a huge difference. Diffs don't unload nearly as much.

I'm sayin! And no one is on the road.... go figure. As soon as it starts snowing too I wait till the norms are off the road and head out.

your jeep looks great, but you may not want to have the high lift on the front because if you hit somthing it will be useless...

Replaced the clutch master cylinder. Unbelievable how easy it is to bleed the clutch. Pump the pedal for 5 mins and good as new.
