I did a couple projects this afternoon. Added a set of Hella 500 lights on KC windshield mounts. Also added some retro 70's era Renegade hood decals. The decals describe the owner, not the Jeep. (I'm a firm believer of asking forgiveness instead of permission...)
Anyways, here are some pics...Ignore the stupid chrome grille cover, I haven't gotten around to taking it off yet...

Took of the plastic running boards/ side steps, whatever you call them and painted the support underneath

I started out using Krylon Satin but it was tiger Striping on the top part, Went to Krylon Gloss and it laid down pretty nice... I've never seen a top glossy so I figured what the heck, It helped using my homemade cart so the top was vertical when I painted it...

Phase one of removing the carpet. Did the back half. I'll do the front when I have time to unbolt the seats.

Picked up a complete yj hardtop (tan) for $140.00. I'm mostly using it for the rear hatch since people want a arm, leg and a kidney for it. But its still worth the price easily.

So I just checked everything, and it seems that this last Sunday when I went wheeling, my bolts that mount the mount for my air filter broke, and my mount was folded forward and my air intake was just floating. Guess I will be getting new bolts and fixing that today.
