Replaced the front axle u joints. Not fun. But a friend showed up during the second one and showed me a neat trick for getting the bearing out of the hub so the second one went much easier

Got my newly rebuilt transmission in, and my Teralow transfer case in today, need to bleed the clutch a bit more and get my exhaust moved over a tad so it stops rubbing and grinding on the driveshaft

Or... Drink more until you reach total enlightenment and know all. I've tried drinking to that point but never made it plus I hear when you reach enlightenment you don't remember it when you sober up

Update:

Had to park the YJ underneath the car port. Started to drizzle, don't want moist seats or wet carpet, makes for mold.

Installed my Bestop Safari top this afternoon. Yet another quality top from Bestop. Fits like a glove and looks great too! I ordered it from 4WD Hardware last weekend and it showed up today. I'm happy with it!

ohhhhhh, ahhhhhhh. drilled...... and slotted.

just for information:
the slotting actually helps way more then the drilling. the drilling just looks cool. the slotting lets the brake rotor remove the layer of gas caused by the pads heating up when being used. the slots evacuate that gas allowing the brakes to work better.

but they sure do look good. i didn't think people put upgraded rotors on their jeeps, very nice job

Ordered Bushwacker flat flare kit...be here Monday, so I removed the stock flares to be ready, and found a rust spot on rear driver side. Looks like I'll be fixing that before I put on new flares. Not bad, never had this flare off since I've owned it, so I figured there'd be a surprise.

Also put on smittybuilt rear bumper and tire carrier, 1 inch body lift from daystar...
