Whats the best way lower mpg

Is changing gears the best way to get better mpg?
Also what are you guys getting?

well right now im all stock at 15mpg highway in my yj. the sending unit is a little wacky so can't really tell what i get in the city.

im getting around 18hwy-13city with 3.07 gears, 33's and a 5speed

i have 31" tires...probably stock gears...manual...15 mpg city...hate highway driving in this!

Stock with 5 spd, 4.56 gears 36 13.50 tires and I get 18 highway 14 city I also run full synthetic in motor, diff, and trans.

used a own a mustang gt. from that experience id go with a k&n air filter or intake, throtle boddy spacer, bigger throttle body, or atleast clean your throttle body out, high conductor spark plug wires, high flow cat. two chamber muffler (if any at all) thats what i did with the mustang and it worked well
