I have a '95 jeep Wrangler with 265k (and counting) poor thing doesn't owe me a dime...... starting to go through some oil... soooo thinking of getting a rebuilt engine. Wish the new jeeps were the same size as mine.. I would go that route in a heart beat.

95 2.5 with 197,000 miles on the original motor. Recently replaced the water pump and I'm on my 3rd starter. Besides that it runs strong. To bad the AX5 isn't built as well.

I don't mean to tread-jack here but I see several that have rebuilt engines. What is a fair price for a 92 2.5l to be rebuilt?

My 1990 2.5L 5 speed has 204K original miles on it. It had some hesitation issues awhile back but after replacing the throttle position and the O2 sensors she purrs like a kitten. In fact I still haven't fixed the radio just so I can hear her purr and to make sure she keep purring.
