Before my current 91 4.0 YJ with a 2.5" lift, I had a 97 2.5 TJ with 4" lift. Honestly I love my YJ more than the TJ. I was constantly fighting off death wobble and even after changing every suspension bushing possible, it would still drift all over the road. Driving the TJ on long distance road trips was a white knuckle experience everytime. The leaf spring suspension on the YJs are simply more solid and dependable. I understand that coil springs give you more flex, but I don't do competition rock crawling, so I could care less. I love my YJ, square headlights (which actually provide more lighting coverage) and all. IMO, TJs are more of a Yuppie Jeep and the YJs are way more of a Tough Jeep

I like the TJ looks much better (round head lights) but I have had my 90 YJ for 15 years new moter upgraded seats ect...and still have plans for Dana 44's front & rear. For me its a money thing for me I already have the YJ but the 05 06 Rubicon would be my choice if money was no object.
