Widest tires on stock wheels?

I tried doing a search on this and couldn't find an answer on it. I have an 88 Sahara with 30x9.5x15 on the stock wheels, and my question is what is the widest I can go and keep the same wheels? I also have a 4" lift on it. I'm looking to go with 33's but not sure on how wide. Thanks

Ive heard of people putting 12.50 on their stock rims but I'd stick to either 10.50 or 11.50

Ok yah I was hoping I would be able to go with at least a 10.5. With the 12.5 would u need some kind of bead locks?

uhmm on a 15x8, i went with 33x10.5s, but my brother has 32x11.5s on stock rims also. people have gone to 12.5in width but there are mixed opinions on whether its recommended or not.. i personally have never done it but id stick to 10.5-11.5 to be safe.
