yep..or don't run the half doors at all..I have 2 sets of half doors laying in my shop but never put them on..it's hot in the summer in south georgia and no doors at all is much cooler
I am the same way here in eastern north Carolina it gets so sticky and hot makes me want to put ac in it I take everything off the jeep in summer well if all I got to do is swap out a stricker plate and line up the doors I can do that I mean working hard doors for that cheap I got to get them
You would think so but I cant find them anywere been looking online all day
Yeah... I hate those doors. I have the same style doors on my YJ and they get the job done but they are not great. I fabbed some striker plates to use with the doors and just a word of advice, the striker plates are LOUD. Like bust your eardrums loud. When you shut your doors you really have to slam them because of how the latch mechanism works. If you want I can post some pictures of the plates when I go to my Jeep in the morning.
Just sold my doors this weekend. I know its been a few weeks but if you still haven't found the latches let me know. Ive got a set
hey "scukfan" do you still have those latches? im having the same problem that coledog has/had. ive got full doors and hard top from a cj7, and they kind of work on my 93 yj, but dont close all the way. im hoping your home made latches will do the trick.
I have cj7 doors and top for my 95. I just took some spare metal and bent it 90 to allow the latch to catch on the metal. just mounted it to my tub like stated before. Pain in the ass though in spring when i put stock half doors on with soft top.
