Does your girlfriend or wife sow? Buy a used sleeping bag and cut it down to size and add some straps. Much cheaper than $200.

We used to sleep in these military sleeping bags made out of goose feathers. I'll tell you what I always had to get the heck out of them in the middle of the night and deal with the coldness.

Goose feathers>anything else.

Doubt I'll ever need it here in Texas, but I'll add it to my list of homemade mods to do list.

I am about to winterize my jeep. I have the rubber liners that go around the edge, the one that goes along the top of the windshield, and I think this would be a great add on for the winter and keeping it warmer. Anyone know how good they work?
