been reading alot about lifts and tire size behind the 4 cyl. and i have mixed thoughts about it and hope i didnt make a mistake.i probably wont go wheeling every weekend but when i do i dont want to be at a loss of power.this is my first 4 cyl. jeep and maybe soon to upgrade.all the others had a v8 or 6 cyl. in them.i will be going up 4 inches and runng 33 12.50.i think from what ive read it will be fine..i hope.and just wondering for those wheeling with a 4 cyl. and big tires.do you spend alot of time in low range? thanks steve

Gearing is the key to living with the 4 cyl. Keep that engine in an rpm range where it makes the most power and you will have a very capable ride. In some cases depending where you wheel it the lighter weight can be an advantage.
Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
