would tj flares fix this issue

I am thinking about adding tj flares would it fix this issue

it would be close... Better yet just do flat fenders, looks really cool and would take care of you "rot" issue :-)

well it wouldnt fix it just hide it and idk if the tj flares would fit on that yj or cj?

it is on a yj.....i was thinking about putting some TJ flares on. i saw where you had to cut away some fender. was not sure if this was in that area or not. i am either going to try and fix it with or hide it or just replace the entire fender....i have some other spots that I need to work on with some patches.....

Looks like the perfect reason to get flat fenders, and then you will have to get bigger tires. See how everything is a positive when there is a Jeep involved.

YES TJ flares fit you just have to do some fender chopping which is why OP asked that. They have a bigger opening which is why many people do the swap (more tire clearance).

but I am just not sure if it will totally get rid of that rot issue, but it will be close to.

yea that helps out alot..i am going to try and hit the local pull a part and see if the have any fenders since i plan on painting it in the near future anyway
