91 was the beginning of some new stuff, it was the first year for the 4.0 engine, and was the first year with a galvanized frame. there may be one other thing that started in 91, but basically, 91 to 95 are the "better of the yj"
Like these guys said not much changed and I've owned one of each year so far. Funny how it worked out like that.
