If anyone is considering a fastback top chime in. Im not affiliated with this Co. I just think this is cool.all I did was ask them to make a top for a YJ.like me asking would get them to make one, damned if they werent already working on it .
Ill probably get 2 just to have a replacement .

I would def have to add this to my "what i want" list and it would prolly be one of my first upgrades, I don't care too much for my current soft top, mostly it's grey, i'd rather have a khaki or black one i think it looks better with the black paint

SUPER interested... have been looking for one of these, and the closest I could find was the California Tops version... which is a WHOPPING $775 + $75 shipping, and if my grade school math is right, freaking $800 for a top with no hard ware

anyway, as long as it's cheaper than that, I am down. And have the family style roll bars, so that's a plus as well

this thread makes me

i live in fort washington, right outside of DC, like right off of 210.

well lived I guess I could say. I spend the majority of the year in NJ, as I go to school there. and when I'm home, I go back and forth between fort washington and bladensburg.

come may, i'll graduate and be heading out to cali, so im looking forward to the top/doors off for the majority of the year

Wrote them a couple of weeks ago. They have just put out one for the TJ, and I was asking about one for the YJ. Wow, a company that listens. They have a nice solution to the "door inserts" that others require.

I believe that's the owner's wife who does all the install videos. Or someone else?

But it is a sweet product for $80---you'd need to be somewhere with a lot of sunshine and a little rain. It looks worth the dough for the shade.

Yea its a nice item for the money. If Softoper offers the YJ top for same intro price they offered the TJ top for, that will be sweet.
I think the bone yards will picked dry for family style roll bars .convetering CJ And older YJs to fit the hoopless fastback tops.

I saw a KILLER double roll bar at the junkward the other day. Fit a godam** old Jeep Commanche (remember those?) to a tee. That Commanche has a V8. Unreal. If you know anything about AMC's, the small truck Commanches were only sold with 6 and 4 cyls...

..I want it for my J10 truck but I have to go back with a tape measure. If it's too skinny it will look lame...ah cosmetics....

AMC thats all my dad drove I remember he bought a 73 hornet new with the 304 auto it hauled the mail really well. Then a gremlin and a spirit then the CJ-5 ,which I inherited .I drove it till the frame broke (bummer) should of held on to that.I had put 4WD fiberglass body on it ,was a 258 4 spd. dont even have any pics of it.
His buddy still has a SCHurst Rambler that ive been after 390 4 spd ,you know what those are worth/

We hope to be looking into models for YJ's later this summer.
Please feel free to check back in a couple of months if you're still in the market.

Thank you,

Yeah yeah, still an interesting product. It seems like you'd need a direct pipeline to God The Meterologist to use it though.

And she does put that thing on effortlessly.

And towards your dressing in white. People think I wear darker clothers because I'm deep or artistic or nonsense like that.

I never wear white/light becuase like you, I own Jeeps, like coffee, have had to blow my nose in my hand in pinch, own dogs, get dirty without trying! Etc!

How will they know, if we don't tell them!

I hope they make one for both the pre-92 and the family bar 92+ models. at least the CJ7s could use a pre-92 type
