YJ Hard Top Questions

So in looking at hard tops for the YJ they all look like the top rear edge of the door is rounded. This is different than the soft tops whick are more "squared off" if you will.

1. Is this correct?
2. So just need new 1/2 door tops or a set of full doors to go with?

I've had the same question...I want to know if soft upper doors for my half doors would fit a hard top or do you need to match manufactures? I don't know why but this mix and matching is such a pain, not to mention expensive if you buy the wrong stuff.

It's the old square peg round hole issue...I'm still trying to see if the manufactures change the "roundness" shape at all. I don't want to run out and buy new steel doors and come to find they don't fit.

go to quadratec.com and look at soft doors. some are rounded, which is what you probably need, and some are squared. also look at jc whitney.

Go to Craigslist and do a search for "YJ." I think there was someone selling black soft door skins with hardware.
