Question YJ Wiper Linkage Parts

The heart of my wiper problem turned out to be the plastic bushing between the wiper motor pivot arm and the wiper linkage. Typically held in place with a "C" shaped retainer.

Mine popped loose and allowed the wiper linkage to mangle it.

Jeep dealer does not show this bushing on their diagram for the wipers? I cruised all the usual on-line guys. Even went so far as to buy a "wiper bushing kit" from the local parts guy. Their kit has the arm bushings but I don't see the one I need in the kit. Will double ckeck tonight.

I put a feeler out to two of the on-line wrecking yard used parts places.

Any ideas on a solution?

I know the linkage you are talking about. We replaced. the winshield frame this past winter. NOW we HAD a parts windshield
that came with the jeep. Tossed the old frame BUT I think we kept the spare linkage. I will search the garage tonight...
As I remember the nylon "caps" on the linkage "snap" onto the ball

Sorry WHITEYJ I checked my clutter and did not find the wiper linkage. Must have gone with the rusted out windshield frame

R.P.M. I appreciate you taking the time to look! I guess it's time to find a wrecking yard!

Thanks
