yj with no fender flares?

im curious to see what a yj wrangler with 4in lift and 33s looks like with no fender flares.. if anyone has a pic that would be the best, and if its all black.. then its that much better

its not. I haven't had an issue but only driven it maybe 15 miles on the road in a year. but thats why I went with cloaks front and rear. if i need to i can get flairs to pass inspection then pull them right back off

Not legal in CA. Either. I've never been hassled, and was not even hassled when I had my blazer on 42s that stuck out 6 or so inches and drove past the local police station every day.

here you go I cut the fronts off and welded a piece of 1 1/4 pipe to the front.
I liked them till i built my tube fenders.

Looks good, is there a rolled edge in the front from the factory that you cut off? How did a look with just the front piece off before you cut it? Have any issues with it?

this is how I cut them down at first . then just went back to the pinch weld seam cut off the the pinch weld fold and miged the pipe on there. cut back the flare with sheet metal snips
I dont have the pics of when I origanlly did it

Flat fenders look the best, and provide the most clearance for larger tires IMO, not to mention they're legal.
