Best repair manual?

What is the best repair manual to get? I am getting my first Jeep soon (1978 CJ-5 6 cyl 4 spd) and I'm looking for something basic yet very informative to help me through the problems that I am sure to encounter. Unfortunately, I know very little about fixing Jeeps so far, but I am eager to learn and fairly technically inclined. Ideally, I am looking for something that explains how and why everything works as well as how to fix problems. I have heard the Chilton's manual is a good one, but I'm looking for advice from you guys....

Does this manual look like a good one?

There are many different types. There is the previously mentioned haynes or chiltons. Then there is the Jeep Bible. Also there are factory service manuals. Depends on what exactly you are doing and what you want to pay.
1978 CJ7, frame off rebuild, NV3550, Dana 300(twin stick with a sight tube), I6(258), Dana 44 Scout Axles with 4.09 gears, truetrac LSD. The rest yet to be decided.

Either Haynes or Chiltons are excelent for older Jeeps. Chiltons has the best wiring diagrams of the two. Very handy when I installed a new Wiring harness from scratch. But both are good. If possible, buy both. One may have more information on a particular area than the other so having multiple references is good.
