I have a bestop soft top with soft doors (two part soft doors that mate together with a male/female rod and hole with Velcro on the outer door to secure it) that do not meet the the top door frame on both passenger and driver. Tired to bend them in with no avail. Any tips or tricks? I'm thinking that maybe the it's not square?

Agreed. There are adjustment points on the lower hinge mount as well as adjustment to how far the top slides I into the bottom.

After that just bend it enough I so that there is positive force where the top meets the jeep. This will keep the tops from being sucked outward when driving at higher speed.

With the door mounted and open, just bend and twist however is needed. It took almost all of my weight to get the doors bent to where I wanted them.

They will likely never fit perfect (mine don't), but they do ok.

For a CJ, just start surfing some sites. I lucked into a new Bestop for my '78 on eBay. Paid right at $550 for it. Top and all new hardware !! Sheer luck though. The cheapest I have seen will be around $700 and up.

And make sure you have the years correct as the tops are year specific. If you have the original hardware the Bestop replace-a-tops are very reasonable since it is only the fabric, $400's I think.
