I have a friend who does nothing but jeeps...he has a tractor trailer full of engines. He has 2 AMC 401's and won't part with either one. Both are rebuilt on engine stands complete, just waiting to go in a CJ5...just not mine, as he says it...lol...

The 401 was never put in a jeep cj as a stock option, only the 304 was offered in the V8's for CJ's. Someone had a good hop-up option to play with...

If you want quality 401 parts, try going to Bulltear.com - Home. Got parts for my 304 from them...nice quality like I said.
