It's going to be hard to find that part because it's so old, but you best bet would be to check out a local junk yard... That's all I got sorry but good luck

Talk to the guys over at the AMC forum. That carb set up was used on AMC cars in the early to mid seventies they can point you in the right direction and may even get you a little more performance out of it.

Nice link Fweak

I got a 232 in my DJ, but I ripped out the 1BBL and put in a 4 Edelbrock's are so much easier to play with than carters.

Have you looked into HEI for yours pryor? it was HANDS DOWN the best thing I ever did to that 232. Literally doubled my gas mileage. (and almost doubled my running temp... had to replace the 4cyl radiator that came with the DJ)

I had the same results in my AMC V8. Gas mileage went from 11 to 14 mpg but the heat has been a major problem. The guys at AMC forum said to bump the timing up and that did seem to help some. Factory timing was 3 degrees BTDC and they told me to set it up to 14 degrees! I thought they where crazy and it would ping like hell but it doesn't. It has more power now than it ever did before.

Pryor,

Have you checked out the internet Carburetor specialists? They can rebuild those and can probably tell you a good, simple replacement for them.

Take care,
