Floor is done on my 82 CJ7. I need to drill new holes in the floor pan for draining. I was thinking of buying a few shower drains(stainless steal or brass) to insert in the floor.
Just wanted to get some feedback and some examples of what others have done for drain plugs.

On the '71, I needed to drill drain holes in the glass tub. So I drilled some, and plugged them with the appropriate size of Caplugs

Easy to install/remove, and come in a bazillion sizes.
We use them all the time at work to plug threaded holes to protect from blast and paint.

Caplugs - Plugs - Caplugs

HTH!
