drive train intrest?????

If I were to do a cummins swap how much intrest would there be in my engine trans and tcase? 6 cyl rebuilt, header, clifford four barrel intake, t four trans, dana three hundrend. All in perfect working order.

Interest would be high, but I wouldn't be too optimistic in making much money on it.

Based on local prices the tranny and d300 are worth between $500 and $600. But that would be separating.

A running 258 is in the $200 to $300 range. With it being rebuilt and the intake that increaes value...not sure how much.

You will see stuff listed cheaper than that too.
I picked up a dana 44 last week and the guy had a running 258/727/d300 combo and would have took $300.

Why you thinking cummins? That's a lot of work for what I think isnt much gain.

I am just a diesel kinda guy, put a diesel motor in a golf cart one time just cause. Really it just the TORQUE that I am after. And the excellent mileage.

Check out Hubjeep's 4BT swap into his CJ7.
Hub did some masterful work, with superb results...
I've seen this Jeep in person a number of times and looked at the work in detail. It looks like a factory install...

4BT in Jeep YJ-7 NV4500, Atlas II..
