Finally! My first Jeep!

Wanted an old Jeep to fix up and take to the woods. Found it. 1962 Willys CJ-5. Friends call it the Roach Coach. They say its a Heep not a Jeep and did I quit my job to start delivering mail. Well... Its rough now but its mine. Cherry popped.

Thanks. It'll get there. Gonna take the plow rigging off tomorow and take it on its maiden voyage out thru the woods by weekend.

Anyone can make a TJ look pretty, but that thing is definitely one of a kind. When I make a woods rig, I'm going to search high and low for something crazy like that!

Good luck with the build

Haha. Thanks man. Been lookin for a jeep for awhile. Guy walks into my friends garage askin if he could make him an exhaust pipe for a '62 Willys. Within 15seconds my friend had the guy convinced to sell it to me. Two days ago. Two days! Another one fell into my lap for $400. All parts though. The tranny & transfer case alone could score close to it. Came in handy already. Had to grab parts from it for little stuff. U know. Like stopping.
