Is this too expensive?

I've been doing a little research and looking at what people are paying for their CJ's, so I'm curious as to why these 2 CJ 7's are so expensive? I understand they are fully restored and according to the owner in perfect condition, but does that make them the price they are asking? I'm not completely sure about the details on them, but the red one comes with a new tan soft top and doors, and the blue one comes with a black soft top and doors. Both are 5 speeds. I'm not sure on the mileage. The red one is an '86 and has the original 258 inline 6, and the blue one is an '80 but not completely sure about the motor. From what you can see and how clean they are, are they anywhere near worth the asking price? (The guy with the red one said he would take 12k. The guy with the blue one has held firm with his price.)
Here are the links:

Much to expensive, even if it had axle swap, new tires, built engine, new tire, bumpers, winch, and lockers... If it had all that stuff id say 12k is an ok price for the 86 if its immaculate. It looks like it has new seats, and the tops are always a nice touch. But if it doesnt come with a winch, lockers, and if the engine isnt pristine, i wouldnt touch it over 9.5k

Some folks think their jeeps are worth more than they are.

So, $6150 for a '84 with hardtop, soft-top recently rebuilt 4.2 and tranny, new steering box etc is reasonable?
Even if I have to add 1500 to 2000 for aftermarket air? Oh, BTW, it's the right color!!!!

I really like the red one...but I just don't know if $12k is worth it. It has been fully redone and has the original inline 6. I definitely want a CJ7 but do not want to have to put a lot of money into one to make it look as good as this one does, when I can just go ahead and buy it like I want it. Would buying a decent one and putting all the money into it more worth than buying one like this?

okay, so as a "shopper" tell me why you would want a CJ7 as opposed to a YJ, which would be cheaper, or a TJ for the same $$$. BTW, this is a serious question.

Because you see 10-20 YJ/TJ's on the road to every CJ7. I love the TJ's and even owned a '99, but I just want a clean CJ now.
