New or used frame?

I have a 86 CJ and was hit in the front end
It bent the frame. I'm concerned with it weakening the frame if I have it straitened.
Would it be better to look around for a used frame or just suck it up and save to buy a new frame?

I straightened mine and plated top and bottom with 1/8 thick strap stich welded. Buy the cheapest one- money for other goodies.

In most states the frame is the Jeep. Everything else is what goes on the Jeep. On my 78 CJ-7 the frame and the grill are the only original parts.

Reminds me of the fellow that has the original hatchet George Washington chopped down the cherry tree with.

It's been in his family 270 years. They've worn out two heads and five handles.
