Old timers, what ya think about this rig?

$17900 seems a little high, but i am far from an expert

I think that the 3" BL is too much with the SOA....

But that's just me. I don't really care for body lifts. I did a 1" on my CJ...But that is only because I installed 2" lift springs and I wanted a little more height...Plus I already had the urethane bushings....

Seems kinda high for a CJ 7 with, I would guess, an AMC 20 rear. Says they changed to one piece axle, usually that is the weak point in the 20...Lotta juice going through it. Doesn't say what transfer either, Dana Model 20 or 300?

x's 2 on the body lift, especially with the height already given from spring over.

it is beautifully restored, but 18K seems pretty steep especially for an '85.

I'm on the fence on this one, I would have to go and take a look personally and scrutinize the restoration. The BL has got to go along with those useless tires. I find myself questioning about the true shape of the body and frame.

The price is justified. Take a look at those cool nerf bar! Worth every penny.

There's nothing all that special about the aftermarket stuff, so if you're hunting for a massive go-anywhere tank, this isn't really it. If you're hunting for nicely restored cool-mobile, well, this has too big an engine, too big of tires, and that roll bar will get in the way of putting on a top. On the other hand, he's put in a lot of nice Bestop products....

And a good looking Jeep on the east coast? it might be worth it.

What are you looking for?

Here's a guy from the local 4x4 neanderthals club selling his tank. WAY uglier, but look at the axles, the boxed frame, the winch, the wheels, transmission, crawler gears, etc. $7k for this, and $5k to make it pretty? There's not a trail on the eastern seaboard where you'd even need to look up - just point it and gun it.

Really want a monsterous bragging-rights tractor of a CJ? Check this one out.

I like it not for the price, or the tires.
