The listing was closed when I opened it.

Very well equipped CJ. Looks great.

Couple things. First, the 3.73 gears and 35" may be a little too high for crawling. Second, when you get into the money they are asking you have a lot more choice.

What are your intentions to the vehicle? DD? Trail rig?

daily driver, some mud very little crawling. im in east texas.weve negotiated the price down, if when i go try it out everything is agreeable. it seems like a nicely setup jeep, and the guy has owned it for the last 10 years i wondered about the 3.73 gears also. what i really like is "no rust" and "everything works". im also looking at my friends 03 rubicon, but i like the top off all the time, and its kinda fancy inside.

It is a nice cj for sure. Very well built with good mods. With what you are doing the 3.73 gears will be "ok" for driving and mud. You can always install a 4:1 low range if you don't like it versus regearing.

No rust is a huge plus. Remember that rubi will ride and drive better than the cj. But cjs are awesome.

yeah, i know. i just sold my 97 tj, but it was a 4 banger w 4.88 gears. great offroad, but kinda sluggish on the street. i wanted to go old school again. i really like to go without the top most of the time, so the older ones are a little better for that. the new ones are too nice inside!
