Power steering gear box?

Hi
My power steering gear box is leaking pretty good. Right at the pitman arm. Could anyone tell me what other boxes will fit? If I can't find same year as mine.
84 CJ7 str 6
Thanks.

Get a quality rebuilt box from Advance Auto. They use two rebuilders but won't tell you that up front. Specify a rebuild by Lares Corp. I've used their boxes without problem. Also see if they have the "rockcrusher" available for your model, a little more money but better for big tires.
I can't view the catalog, but here is the link:
Catalog at Lares Corporation

If you're looking at an opportunity to upgrade your box while you swap it out, you can't go wrong with PSC:

80-86 Jeep CJ All - Jeep - Steering Gears - Offroad - Motorsport Specific Products

They're pricey but you won't have any problems with them that you do with typical rebuilt boxes.

Ok, I picked up a beefy ass box with pitman arm attached. I was told it was a direct plug and play. yeah right... Anyway it is the box with the 76 raised letter I was reading about. It has what seems to be a 30 or 32 spline count depending if you count the flat splines where it flattens out on either side of the flat part. It has the nipple on the shaft, where I read I could grind off if necessary. Does anyone know the spline count on stock power steering shaft for the 84 cj7? Read another thing where I might need a manual coupler to fit? Anyway any help would be appreciated before tackling. Oh got this box with pitman arm and two headlights for 30 bucks.
