tranny/engine relations...

Anyone happen to know what tranny would most likely be found behind a Hurricane 134 in 1962 ("original 3 speed standard"), and wether or not said tranny would bolt up to a 232 circa the 70's sometime (like 76 or 77, I have no clue what vintage my engine is... it was a government vehicle an has parts from all over the time scale)?

starting to look at donor vehicles to convert my DJ (finally) and there's a '62 with lost title issues that might just become an organ donor

I know it's probably on Google, but I'm in an "undisclosed location in SWA" and my google is often in arabic and always wonky as ****.
