Tuxedo Park

This is my father-in-laws 1967 CJ6A Tuxedo Park Edition.

It was a barn find from several years back that my brother-in-law got running again. Everything is original, including the top that is not pictured, but it is in bad shape. He has had several collectors trying to get their hands on it, but so far they have not been successful. I would love to see it restored, but I don't think he's interested in that either.

I think it looks the perfect faded shade of red, I wouldn't change a thing

I like the way you think, but it's hard enough keeping it on the road as it stands. I am going to try to get the steering tightened up this summer because it is beyond sloppy.

Check the steering bell crank for slop and also the ball joint on the selector shaft for looseness...I had a '67 cj5 back in the day...........

Tell your FIL to join the group at EarlyCJ5.com
The guys there specialize in 55-75 CJ5s, and we probably have the largest single group of Tux Park owners on the web.
You'll also find instructions/help and even parts sources for rebuilding the factory Ross steering system on the Tux (or swapping to Saginaw if either of you were so inclined)

I don't see a V6 badge... is the a Hurricane?

Not a V6 and it doesn't have a column shifter either. It was one of only 20 made in 1967, so I imagine they had to make some changes on the assembly line that makes it even more rare.

Already a member there and posted this back in 2009:

67 CJ6A Tuxedo Park

It's been a while since I was there, but my interst in renewed now that I am back home for a bit.

We live in Pickaway County just a short 10-minute drive on SR56 east out of Circleville.
