Frame doesn't seem to be right, looks like a body swap.Front wheels shouldn't be that far forward. Then again it could just be the angle of the picture

It is pretty sweet! I checked it out a litte more and there is NO rust on the body or frame. The whole undercarriage is either POR15ed or beelined. No dents or anything in the body either.

Not sure what's under the hold though

Pretty cool ride. It's no jeep, but they're still really cool. There's money there if the price is right. Like the original broncos, they have a cult following, which means there's always someone looking for one.
Is it gas or diesel?

Not sure didn't open the hood.... yeah they just look really cool. Wouldn't mind having one but like you said if the price is right.

Definitely a Toyota FJ40.. 76 thru 79, The 76 was the first year for the square mirrors, the big turn signals, and ambulance rear doors, also the first year for a four speed, and direct shifting for the transfer case.. 76 was also the last year that had no catalytic converter. This is all true, if memory serves me correctly, as I owned a 76 a lifetime ago.. Then again, it could be a complete resto job with a combination of a lot of years.. How much are they asking? If it is a diesel, it can be worth upwards of 15k, if not , and it's in excellent shape, 5 to 10k....
