what you guys think

I sold my last project jeep a 1993 yj soa, 3inbody and 2in sus. lift and i was trying to get my great uncle to sell me his 1943 willys but he wont so i found a guy who lives 2hours from me and is willing to sell me his 1953 willys, its all complete but the carb and radiator are gone here are some pics tellme what you think, i need your honest opinion. i always wanted a willys every since my grandpa had one and use too take me 4wheelin with him so this will be along term project and will stay in my family for my kids to ride in.

oh by the way he wants 400 for the willys, this would be a long term project.

any more, bigger pics???? Does it run? I notice it has the broken fan option. $400 would be worth it to get the VIN number and transfer to a new frame and body, as that one looks well used..

Would he go lower than 4? If he would take 250 to 3 I would.

Love Willys! I used to drive my dad's around our yard but the seat was so far back I stood up and drove.

I would do it if he went lower.

Thanks guys im goin to try and set up ameeting to meet the guy this coming weekend and the jeep was running before parked and the rust is not bad on the jeep was just an ood color so hopefully ill be the owner of a piece of american history, i remember as a kid goin for rides in my grandfathers willys and you could not stop that little go devil.

willy's are awesome, i'd love to have one. just make sure its not too far gone, make sure the frame and or body isn't rotted out. but it is worth it for the vin and title though.
