I decided that I wanted to paint it for 2 reasons. First since I had wire wheeled it down to bare metal when I was cleaning it I needed to have someway to keep it from rusting. The second would be that when the Jeep is all done I want it to look good until I mud or trail it.

Tiny I will work on it as fast as I can. I do have to work my other jobs the next 3 weekends and one of those is my girlfriends birthday so I have a feeling I will not be getting much done any time soon.

Not going to happen. She knows that the jeep is something I have had around longer than her and will be here if she ever decides to leave. I do have to make some concessions once in a while.

Yeah and that is ok. I have no problem with that. With this work schedule though it will be a while before I get to do anything other than minor work to it. I did look at the transfer case last night if that counts. Oh and I am reading a JP magazine while I am at work. Doesn't get the jeep done any faster but it passes the time.

I have made a few decisions about what I want to do but those are down the road. I almost bought a set of swampers for it yesterday. I would like to work on it sometime soon. We will have to wait and see what I have for time and money.

I was helping a guy out finish a brake job and he mentioned the truck sitting in the parking area. He was asking a friend of mine advice on the truck and I was offered the swampers. If the price would have been right I would have taken them.

Still trying to get the lighting right on the sitting on the frame and making engine noises video.

It is the summer festival our town has and it has many different cars and trucks showing up. Always cool.

Alright, alright. Do you know how long it took me to get everyone to knock it off? Stop talking about my bumper. The jugs are long gone, I gave them away.

For either comment. I stopped talking about tiny's jugs because she asked me to and out of respect I did. So out of respect Tiny, beat him. To answer your question no, I did not get anything done on the jeep. I had a rough weekend trying and failing to save a man's life this weekend with his wife watching. I moped around the rest of the weekend. I have been working as an emt for about 10 years and death still bothers me. Sorry Tiny my mind was elsewhere. As for the jugs do you take special orders?

Yea, she gave them to me I installed them accouple months back.

Sorry to hear that badge, I was thinking about being a EMT after my stepdad suggested it to me (he was a RN). Said something about me being a caring person and either RN or EMT would be a good field for me. I just don't think I could handle death either.

You gave them away?! That's just wrong! And as for hitting me, all I can say is; Promises, promises! BRING IT!!!

Badge, sorry your wekend went in the crapper, been there, done that, didn't like it then, don't know how I'd deal with it if it happened again, so I totally sympathize.

As for Tiny, she knows (or at least she ought to!) I'm just yankin her chain, she needs somebody to give it back to her once in awhile!

My money is on tiny. As for the Jeep I am hoping to get some work done this week or weekend. I would like to get the transfer case back together. Then I need to paint the transmission before I can put them together. Maybe I will tape and paint the transmission sometime during the week and then this weekend try to get something done on the transfer case.
