Willy's Help!

I have a YJ and a JK and am thinking about jumping into the CJ world. I found a 46 Willy's that I am thinking about buying. The frame seems good, there is no engine or many other parts for that matter. The tub has a lot of surface rust and the floor pans are rusted out. The guy has offered to sell it to me for $300. My question is, is it worth it? Is this a good price or is it way too far gone? I have attached some pictures. Can you tell me more about this, also? Thank y'all so much!

Hi, I stayed out of the CJ Jeeps for several years. I was really wanted the 53 modle, however, I found a 1976 CJ5. I wasn't as bad as your 46 Willis. The price is qustionable.... It is just how much time and money you want to spend on the Willis. I was working on my Jeep for 10 1/2 months and I am still upgrading the Jeep. Some day I might get it the way I want it..... You can get on my post to see the Jeep.
Have a good day and time.

$300 seems fair for a rolling chassis with a salvageable body tub. If it comes with a title, saving you the hassle of registering a home-built/reassembled vehicle, I think $300 is very fair indeed.

I'd get it at $300.
