Wrangler missing/cutting out with AC on

I've been having problems when the AC or heater controls are on. When and during acceleration the jeep cuts out and misses a lot or going down the road the engine, 2.5, cuts out and misses. I've looked at vacum lines and anything else that I can with the schematics. I'm wondering if it could be a fuel problem? I overhauled the engine a year ago but the issue is still there. When the heater only is on the AC compressor kicks turns off and on. This could be a relay problem? 2002 jeep wrangler, 2.5 engine, 67,000 miles. Any help would be appreciated.

You may have better luck asking this question on the TJ forum, I'm sure you'll get more specific answers over there. Good luck.
