YJ springs?

Hi, Thinking of putting a 2" soft ride lift on my 79 CJ Is it worth it to change over to YJ springs? for ride and articulation. I've never ridden in a YJ do they ride that much better than a CJ? John

Well it really isn't that much work to convert to yj springs. The rear is the same on both cj and yj. The front just requires a rivet to be grinded off and the perch moved 1 hole forward. I replaced my front and back perches with HD ones so they had to come off anyway when I did it.

I ran a 4" rough country cj lift for many years. It was stiff and had less flex. I switched to a 2 1/2" Old Man Emu and it rides much better and has a ton more flex.

I don't think OME sells anything for a CJ directly so I had no choice but I was going to upgrade regardless.

Nick, why don't you have a Jeep Profile so people can look at how your CJ is set up?

EDIT: I see that my Jeep Profile has disapeared as well. Wonder what's going on...
