Do what makes you happy. My first jeep was a CJ-7 renegade and every jeep since then has been a renegade replica.

The decal vynl is thick and it was really REALLY easy to put on by myself. If anyone is interested I can give some pointers. If anyone wants these particular items you can reach him below.

Jeep Wrangler Oscar Mike Oscarmike Military Star Decal Sticker Gloss White | eBay

So that link is for $60 for two decals. One large, one small. I assume you are saying you messaged him and negotiated for the One Large, three small for $60?

I do like the Oscar Mike Star. Their easy to create(once equipped with the right tools) and apply, I created these two 20x"20" stars 30mins ago. Came out great.

Hmmm, maybe I should have centered my star on the hood?

My 2013 JKU Freedom Edition Oscar Mike Commando Green has the same "1941" passenger glove box grab. Nothing OM there.

As for the OM stars, my 2013 real one only have two stars total... the off centered hood star and the smaller one on the pass side rear. I wasn't sure about the star at all at first, however it is growing on me. And to see a thread like this with all kinds of stars, it certainly fits in!

This is my first Jeep, happy to be here.

i wonder how much it would be to get the silver front grill. They just pop in and out by themselves. I do like your OM, a lot (which is why I OMed up my sport). I get the best of both worlds, OM styling and the black fenders.

I have started putting on a few of my military decals. I had them made to look worn like the Oscar Mike ones. Reflective black.

What do you use to get them to stick (i.e. is it just like a peel-off bumper sticker?) , and if you don't like it, what do you use to peel it off the Jeep?

How do you get the decals to stick (i.e. is it just like a peel-off bumper sticker), and if you don't like the way it looks once installed, what do you use to peel it off again?

This is funny. My brother called tonight talking about buying an antique John Deere Tractor. He wants to paint it pink and and then he wants me to print him decals that say JANE DEERE. it is for Breast cancer awareness. he is worried he will offend J.D. collectors. I said Screw them "IT IS YOURS DO WHAT EVER YOU WANT". How thick is your skin? That is the real question If you get called out as a fake how will you handle it?

No problem. They peel and stick. I actually just got some larger ones on and kind of botched it. Was too excited and rushed. There are a few creases and air bubbles. Should have taken time and used a soapy solution to help position them. Was not necessary for smaller ones.

Anyway, I will leave them as long as they will last. But if I do need to remove everyone says they will peel off easily with some heat. That is how I removed some I the factory decals...

Decals are pretty easy to install, just a splash and soap and you have the freedom to move the decal around somewhat before you squeegee it down and get all the water out. The bubbles you can pop with a sharp balde and squeeze out most times.

I know, I know. Mostly just giving myself a hard time. I feel foolish, I should have been more careful!

So now I am thinking about getting a custom tire cover for my jeep. Here are two of my designs. Any thoughts? I cant decide to link in the "Oscar Mike" of the badges, or the "Freedom Edition" wich is the actual name.

Of course, these are just mock-ups Any thoughts?

Honestly I don't even like a lot of big stickers advertising what my car is alll over it. Hate the way the rubi stickers look. Especially hate the call of duty jeeps. The "X" logo on the X jeeps is kind of cool looking though, and non intrusive...so i'll leave that on mine.

You should totally get the military decals. It'd be cool as hell.

I'm thinking about putting something made up and smartass as hell on my hood where the rubi stickers go.

Get the stickers if you like them.
Who cares what is does or does not resemble. There are plenty of Rubicon owners who pull their hood stickers off and I don't hear Sport or Sahara owners crying foul for misrepresentation

For the record, I have already oscar miked up my jeep. My next step was for the custom wheel cover. The two ideas I have are above. Any thoughts on the wording, if it should say "Freedom Edition" or Oscar Mike?

I don't actually like wheel covers. Nothing wrong with them, and I am sure they protect the spare, it is just that I prefer the naked look for the spare. And as I rotate it in, the weather/sun damage is not really an issue for me.

If you are set on getting one, I would do just the invasion star. But if the choice is between the two options you posted above, I would choose the "Freedom Edition" one.
