Thanks for posting this. It gives a good explanation of mechanical advantage, which seems to be a complete mystery for most people, at least when it comes to pulleys. It was fun to read through as well.

I've looked all over my jeep and can't find the turret. Is it part of the Willys package?

Just glanced through them. The second one on there seemed to be more of a SERE manual than vehicle recovery.
