http://defensetech.org/2014/04/08/bo...SRC=deftech.sm

I thought it was pretty neat. Worth sharing.

Boeing + MSI [+NASCAR] = Modern Military Jeep... ?

It's got some cool features
- Multi Fuel Engine
- Four wheel steering
- Ford 3 ft of water (meh)
- Modular payload

Very interesting, specialty use vehicle! I wonder why Boeing? It seems to me that it would be far cheaper and more efficient to modify an existing side by side ATV... or at least contract one the manufacturers of them to build it.

Buddy and me got to Germany and wondered where the dune buggys were like in the MOS Video...we were lied too! (Added to the long list of lies)

As for it being "Boeing" it was probably built on the McDonnel-Douglas side of Boeing. As the 25mm Bushmaster on my M3 Bradley was designed by them too.

Scored lots of kudos when I was asked by division manager at Boeing to talk about what I did in the Army and found that little piece of info. None of my division even knew about it, but we had just aquired McDonnell Douglas less than a year before that.

Edit:
Phantom Badger built at Boeing Phantom Works previously known as McDonnell-Douglas
