The 1951 Swiss movie, Four in a Jeep, revolves around the occupation of Vienna in 1945 after WWII ended. As a tribute to the 60th anniversary of the Austrian state treaty signed 10 years later that ended the occupation, the Waldorf had a 1944 Willys like the one in the movie brought in as a centerpiece for the UN dignitaries in attendance.
