Before I bought my current jeep I had a torch red 2003 SVT Cobra. It was puting down 465 hp and matching tq to the rear wheels with some simple bolt ons. I loved that mustang but I sold it for something even funner (my jeep).
Thats a nice website. The website I'd frequent alot was called SVTPerformance They have it organized into different groups including the Lightnings. Its been a few years since I've posted there but you can still find my dyno sheets postings... my userid on there was the same (ygohome)

I almost bought a lightning but it only has 2 doors and no towing so I picked up a dodge ram srt-10 with the four door 500 horse power and 8,000# towing capacity
I can take my wife and kid and still haul my quads to the dunes

You know the Lightnings have a 5000lb towing capacity, right?? ....not to mention they are faster than the Srt's, LOL!! I tow my bikes with my L.

no I didnt know that you can tow with the lighting, As far as I new they didnt have a towing capacity.
the srt 10 has a 8,000# towing capacity and the only time I have seen a lighting beat the srt is if he did a pulley change and only then did I see the lighting give the srt a good run.
Just so you know I really dont have a ram srt-10 I was only messing around on the post just to see the feedback
I have been thinking of buying one so I can tow my jeep to moab or the rubicon or even the hammers
and still have a fast truck
I also have to have the quadcab I need a back seat for my little girl

L's are not faster unless they are modded. not in the 1/4 or in the top end.

^ agree the grill is hideous and I'd replace it with a full one, but having seen them up close, I really like them. The bulged out fenders really set it off.

I traded in my 98 Cobra drop top for my Jeep.
I don't get there as fast any more, but I sure can get to a lot more places.
