This past year I got my first Rubicon and was lucky enough to meet a bunch of great locals who taught me how to wheel, and how to wrench. The friendships came at just the perfect time as I was doing some soul searching after some bad personal relationships.
Anyway, I decided that everyone who is being initiated into the Jeep family should get the same fuzzy feeling as I did, and one of my biggest questions when I first started was, "Where do I go (near me) to get off-pavement?"
Some friends and I started the website Jeeps, Jeep Wranglers, ORV Park and Off-Road Trail Information for Jeep Owners
to help answer that question. We know there are literally thousands of trails across the world, many are hidden gems, but some are also private property, etc. Our goal with this website is to create a resource so that people who are new to off-roading can come and identify trails near them that are legal to ride on.
We've just started, and we know the road to build this encyclopedia of trails will be a long one, but with your help, we would love to get there via crowdsourcing the content. Along the way, we hope to create some cool merchandise to give back to those that have helped us. Anyway, please check out the site and let us know at firstname.lastname@example.org
if you'd be interested in helping us curate some trails in your area.
Many, MANY thanks in advance.
