Picked up my JKU on 2/26/14 Im looking to do a bunch of mods to it since I got the bug even before I even got the jeep but I'm on a tight budget. There won't be much to follow on this because it is more of a log for myself and to possibly be criticized
Im not going to go crazy but here are a few things I'm looking to add
13" Antenna
Hard Top (holding off until the Fall)
Decals for more HP
Grab Handles (oh Sh*t handles)
Cut Stock fenders
Slush mats because my shoes tend me be filthy
ProComp Alloy Wheels 16" w/ Duratrac 286/75/16
2.5" lift unsure of manufacturer
Rampage Stubby front bumper
KO Rock Crawler rear bumper

Good luck on your build. I picked up my JKU on 2/14/14 So far I added Bushwacker Flat Fenders, Smittybilt XRC Bumper with a Badlands 12,000 winch. Back bumper will go on next week. Still haven't figured out what suspension that I am going to go with.

Nice Rig! How much height did you lose after adding bumper and winch?

I'm not sure, I didn't measure it. But it looks like about a 1/2 to 1 inch.

No need to worry about the critics! Most of us will tell you, its your Jeep! do exactly what you want to it. One of the most fun thing to do with the Jeep is to make it yours.

Like you, I'll be on a fairly tight budget once I get my JKUR-X in June. I'm planning to do wheels and tires first ( most expensive part) then see what I have left in the kitty...

Good choice on the winch. Honestly, for the money you can't beat it. $300 for a 12,000 winch is insane (if you're doing moderate off-roading). Love mine.

I put on my 13" antenna and hopefully going to stubby my stock bumper on a weeknight or this upcoming weekend. Keeping it slow and working on the small stuff for now.

Thumbs up Looks like a great plan

Looking good Triple R!

Really like the grill treatment. The plasti-dip black looks pretty sweet with the satin finish of the bumper.
Would really like to see a front quartering shot, in the sun! I'll bet it looks stunning.

The cool thing about Jeeps is that as long as you stay with quality products, it's hard to make a mistake.
Mod on Jeep Brother, mod on!

I picked up a takeoff bumper that was fairly dis colored for $50 to chop it up so I didn't have to mess up my brand new one. Painted it with truck bed liner and I think it came out pretty well.

WOW!
That came out awesome. The bumper, grill, fenders, hood latches & mirrors being the flat-ish black looks smoking hot with the Anvil.

Will look forward to seeing it with the wheels and tires.

Been super busy but I Ordered a mopar light bar for my stock bumper. Redrock 3" round side steps (some idiot hit me overnight and broke my crappy plastic side steps and dented my rear passenger door) and lifetime led lights. Should be in this week can't wait to get them on.

My wheels came in today without the zinc lug nuts for the level 8 pros. Wheels came from Ohio while the lug nuts are coming from Texas! Not fun at all waiting for just lug nuts while my new wheels sit in a garage

Really pissed off right now. Lug nuts were supposed to come in today but UPS forgot to load them into the truck for delivery. They were coming from Texas and if I known that before they were shipped out I would've paid for faster shipping bc now I have 5 wheels sitting in my Mother-in-laws garage and they're not on my jeep.
