Bought my first Wrangler about a week ago. So far I love it but of course I already have modifications in progress. As I write this, the JK is getting the following parts:
3.5" Rubicon Express Suspension Lift
16" Pro Comp 7032 Cast Black Wheels
35" Goodyear Duratrac Tires
Smittybilt XRC Front Bumper
SmittyBilt XRC Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier
Smittybilt XRC Rock Sliders
Smittybilt Grab Handles
4 Smittybilt 3/4" D Rings
Herculiner Roll on Bedliner to replace the carpet
Hopefully it will be ready to pick up tomorrow night! Here is a couple pics when i was picking it up from the dealer.
Only have about 100 miles on them so far but try are awesome. Aggressive look and not that loud at all! I will post some better pics this weekend when I have time. Best project is to beeline the floor!
Nice looking Jeep! I was in your same boat I bought mine and had the dealership do some quick mods to it. Man it was the longest couple of days waiting for it to be done. I have a 14 billet silver looks very close to yours minus the bumpers and bed liner.
The job was/is very professional looking and if he used Herculiner.. then I hope he sends these images to Bill Grimpe@herculiner. I'm sure he will be interested. Bill is currently in a holding pattern for our bed liner project and we'll document the whole thing on our blog.
This got posted on my line x thread. Thought you might want to check it out.
Did you have to install new driveshafts with the lift. I heard anything over three Inches of lift ?
I did not. I don't plan of going hardcore off-roading and after I talked to my local 4x4 shop that specialized in jeeps, he told me I didn't have to. I live in Florida and I don't see a point in regearing either. My jeep drives the same after the lift as it did before.
BTW, I ordered it from that website and it was at my house in less than 24 hours. If you don't spend enough to get the free shipping than use the code MIL08 and it gets you 10% off. Can only get one or the other.
