2014 flame red JKU build from scratch

Hello everyone I have been lurking around and reading up around the forums.

This is my first Jeep ever but not my first off road vehicle I have had an 86 Ford Bronco a 93 Chevy full size Blazer and I still own a lifted 3/4 dodge cummins that is heavily modified.

Here is my 2014 Flame Red JKU as it sits now only mod so far is the airaid MXP intake with box (I know nobody likes intakes, but its already installed) and tinted windows.

So far my list for mods is going to be:

3.5" lift
35" tires
17x9 rockstar II wheels with a -backspacing
smitybuilt SRC rear bumper and tire carrier
smitybuilt MOD front bumper.

lots of other minor odd and ends interior and exterior also.

I live in west Texas no real off road parks or places to do serious off roading so for now my JKU will be mostly a highway tow rig to go to the river down in the New Braunfels area no big trailers just a real small one with my custom stereos I build to float the river with.

I am still doing my research on what lift, tires etc not sure what to do for lift I have looked at so many I think they are all lumping together lol.

Like I said its going to spend most of its time on the highway because I drive a Police Tahoe around town every day even off duty.

I am open to any and all advise for lifts and what other options I will need to change out. I want to maintain a good ride on the road still. I will continue reading and researching on my own also.

Thanks to everyone in advance.

Well the tires came in I mounted one to see what it will look like next to the Jeep. The new ACE bumper should be here today. Now I just need to put all this together.

Thanks Digger. I got the ACE bumper installed this weekend and I have to say that Jason from Krawl off road was awesome in helping me with this bumper order. It took ACE a while to manufacture the bumper but well worth the wait. This bumper is HELL FOR STOUT. With my job I see a lot of wrecks where people rear end each other and well i feel sorry for anyone who hits this bumper.

Awesome. I like both of those bumpers. If the front one came in full width, I may have considered getting it instead of the Rampage. I ordered those same Vision Fury wheels Saturday from DTD and can't wait until they arrive and I can get them mounted.
