2016 JKU named "punisher"

Been a punisher fan since I can remember, my jeep already has a punisher theme so that is what I decided to name my jeep.

I want the build to stay in the 100K range, mods below will be ordered this week, everything welded, then painted. All suspension/coilovers will be powder coated red. Jeep will be on a 6-7" lift via coilovers on 41.5" or 44" tires.

Theme is granite Crystal with red accents.

If these mods below leave enough in build I will do a LS swap as well.

Mods:

Dana 60 Front 5.38 W/gusset & truss
Dana 60 Rear 5.38 W/gusset & truss
Custom built front driveshaft
Custom built rear drive shaft
Synergy HD rear track bar

This sounds awesome. I'm also a huge punisher fan. Now that deadpool is out on Netflix I have noticed an increase in punisher stuff all over. My jku is white and I'm planning on at least getting a decent punisher decal.

That's an aggressive list!!
Did I miss what you're doing for control arms?
Also, on that type of rig I'd encourage you to look at antirocks instead of quick discos. LINK

we have similar taste, I actual had those on my list but didn't line the fact they gave body roll on normal driving and only go to 5" lift. I am going to daily this rig. Figured when I wheel just disconnect lol!

I actually forgot to put list my control arms. Going with teraflex because you cab actually get a bit of axle adjustment wich will help with a installing drive shaft.

Great choice

I have a friend with a similar build, he went with the LS3 and 4L80E. Then added a supercharger recently LOL

Best of luck, look forward to your build!

taking your advice!

Going to add in these front and rear anti-rock sway bar kits. I have read you only loose a bit of articulating 1" at very most

These don't limit lift correct? I am going up 6-7"via rebel coilovers

Currie Enterprises. CE-9900JKF - JK Antirock® Front Sway Bar Kit (Steel Arms & Frame Brackets)

Currie Enterprises. CE-9900JKR4 - JK 4D Antirock® Rear Sway Bar Kit (Steel Arms)

I don't have any personal experience with them (yet) They're on the list though.
So I'll have to defer that question to someone else.

I am so eager, luckily we have a arranged a shipping post so all parts will be delivered on same day, 3/4 of semi lol! Will have shop, me and a few others putting her together quickly. Only thing I have to wait on is powder coating and welding truss/gussets on then repainting. Axle assemblies are direct plug N play 8 lug so should go in rather quickly. 2 day turn around on custom axles that are local.

is your 100K goal including the purchase of the Jeep? Or just the mods?

With jeep, my jeep was $45K up to about $40K in mods, so will have 10-15'K depending on any other issues we may have

How did you get your stuff so quickly and all together? I ordered some of my stuff 8 weeks ago, and I am still waiting for it. Who are you using for your axles?

only thing that will be a wait is the jcr fender delete/rocker arm delete of 4 weeks, the coilovers 1-week due to powder coating. I will let you know who he is using in morning.

My shop linieman oil (local shop) is ordering everything. I actually don't know who he ordered thru, its below online is all I know lol!

I added everything up via cheapest online price I could find, he beat that price by 12% so saved me $4800...I didn't ask questions. I will say a shop will have priority of single individual 99% of the time. I built a 900whp bmw myself and waited forever for parts, my buddy who owns a shop got same parts in 3 days!!

These are the axles I am getting, brakes make the stock brakes look like toys. I love how dana has raised the track bar brackets also...just a beautiful setup.

how did you decide on ultimate dana versus dynatrac?

I also see that you are planning to gusset and truss your axles, and you are adding a cage. However, I didn't see any skids. Are you foregoing them because of your big tires, or are you mostly desert running where you don't anticipate hitting big rocks underneath.

no dessert here lol! I have red-rock now, actually want something thicker, like a true 1/4". May fabricate some or put some 1/8" over the red rock.

Dana 60 spicer I chose because it has 8lug and E locker vs dynatrac has 5 lug and air lockers. I prefer E locker and the stronger 8 lug. Dana spicer also has a gusset built in and has more clearance.

About the same price.

I have actually decided against the gussest/truss as the dana 60 spicer has a gusset built in.

The dynatrac has 8 lug. Actually, on the ton axle set, 8x6.5 is an option. That is what I have ordered. Also, the Eaton E locker is also an option, but I am going with the ARB air lockers.

Not that it makes a difference since you already ordered, but in the future, you can consider either one based on your option choices.

I am actually orfering everything on Thursday, I do like the Clearance with the Spicer though, my buddy runs these and loves them. I am sure they are both stronger than most out there.

Wow, ordering them on thursday, and then getting them in 2 days. I already ordered my axles 8 weeks ago, and I am still not sure where I am in the queue. I am waiting for axles and a transfer case. I think the other things are ready.

I am also using a shop, so they are ordering everything. However, I am not capable like you, so I am having them install everything, too.

Good luck. Keep the pictures coming.

my shop is installing also, you can do this diy but it is WELL worth the extra money to have them install it when spending this kinda money.

1. Something messed up or is installed wrong ect your not going to eat the bill

2. Your work is not insured, they are.

My shop called ahead and got everything together, made sure everything was in stock and ready to go when I told him what I wanted. If just walked in his shop and said I need this stuff it would be 2 weeks at least. He is a very good friend if mind and had time to get this together for me. Some stuff like the jcr stuff, few other things will be a few weeks. Especially my tire carrier, its not even out yet lol!

Does your shop go thru a wholesaler? If not, that is your delay.

The two things that are holding things up are just lead times. I am getting dynatrac axles, and the lead time is around 8 weeks. I am also getting an atlas transfer case, and the lead time is around 4-6 weeks, but I think they got backed up a bit. They are supposedly made in order of ordering. I went to both factories over Christmas. Everything else is already here, or they haven't been released yet.

Well this really sucks, just found out that ultimate dana 60's dont do well with Hydro steer, have to modify track bar bracket. Not doing that. May switch to Teraflex super 60 or dynatrac.
